Hello ladies in waiting!, I'll give you a quick intro. My name is Melissa (nickname dink since I've been born). I'm a very early lady in waiting. Born & raised in the Midwest, moved to California in the summer of 2004, only to move back to the Midwest this past December. I ended up meeting my boyfriend through an old co-worker at my first job in California. She introduced us about 1.5 months AFTER I left California. Figures right? But, she was lookin out for me, as she didn't want to introduce me to some creep as she so lovingly puts it!

Anyways, it's been just over 3 months, and we've seen each other at least 4 times. We try to see each other at least once a month if possible. A LDR isn't fun by any means in terms of having minimal time with each other, but we thankfully have no problem talking for hours, or texting our thumbs off. We've both met each others parents, and even before I met his, his mom gave him her original engagement ring, to use the stones if he wanted because she just knew by the way he talked about me. (His mother is truly one of the most incredible and strongest women I've ever met). I never thought that I'd be comfortable or trust someone in a LDR, but with him, I guess it's just, as they say, different.

That sums it up for me!

Here''s hoping she doesn''t lap me... although of course she will. Actually, I kind of hope she does! I''d love to see a proposal at the end of this season.

On a side note, you think we should change it to "Honorary LIW Pam Beesley (from the Office)"? Newer LIW''s might not get the reference once StarsetPrincess''s original post gets lost in the thread.

Basically that they were on PS just to get a reaction out of us for their entertainment or whatever reason instead of using the forum for what it''s intended. The admins delete them pretty quickly and then everything that they had posted is gone in an instant! I think it''s pretty awesome to be honest.

We thought it was outrageous that after all the time they''d been together, he had no intention of doing the meeting of the families or even discuss the possibility! Of course, we gave her our two cents...
