Hey everyone!!

Congratulations to our previous listkeeper Mico!!! She is now OFF THE LIST!

Previous list keepers have said it best, so I will continue with their words:
The Ladies in Waiting forum is a place where Ladies waiting for the big question can talk to each other, give support for our crazy moments, and see how high we go or hopefully how quickly we come off the Ladies in Waiting list.

Post in this thread to ask to be added to the list and make a new thread introducing yourself. You will get added to the bottom of the list. Once your wait is over and you are engaged, you simply ask to be removed from the list in this thread. But make sure to come back with your story and photos, we all want to ooh and aah over your new bling

I just went through all the member profiles too. Checked all the topics for missing "engagements" and didn't find any. The only thing I noticed different (which is teeny...) is that dandyandi's last post was 5/18, not 5/17...one day could make a difference! Haha.

Other than that, I bumped some threads for girls who seemed close on the ring front, hopefully we'll get some updates out of them!

Goodness! At this rate I'll be in the single digits by the end of the year! Yikes!! When I joined I was like... 40 something, I think.

We need to find some new blood! LOL

When I saw my new number, I went "Oh God!" out loud and my BF said "What is it?!"

I was like "....nothing."

Oh I know. He knows I'm on a jewelry forum that has a heavy focus on engagement rings but... not that there's a specific forum for LIW. With a list. With numbers. Haha! I plan on keeping it that way.

hahah oh goodness...the more I think about it actually, the more I think SO could give 2 craps if he found out I was on a LIW list (he knows I look at rings and am semi well-versed in diamonds lol). I think he'd just think it was hilarious and shake his head.

LOL my SO is clued in on all of it..... but doesnt know Im listkeeper

I think I told him once that Im getting dangerously high on the list and he said something like he doesnt care if Im at the top of it forever because its ridiculous. OOPS!

I think I will get in the top 10 before I get engaged... only bc it seems like ppl disappear. I was... I think.... #88 when I started ....!!! I have probs 4-5 weeks? hellifiknow

- Did anyone join the LIW list without ever talking about engagement/marriage with the SO? AKA "Silent LIWs"?
- Do the SO and you have any fur-children?
- School Talk - Who is currently in school? What are you studying? Which level of education are you working on? If you finished school, what did you study? What was the highest level of education you completed? What do you do now? Does your job have anything to do with your degree?

I just made one today! I don't like starting multiple ones because they get buried before they even get answered. I'll post another in a few days

- What the heck is he waiting for? - No really, what's the hold up? What are you waiting for? School, work, house?
- Kid talk - Have you two talked about how many kids you want? And when you'd want them? Any kid plans, ie. education/religion?
- Does your SO have an outfit that you HATE?
- Are your parents still together? Are his parents still together?
- Do you believe in divorce? Does your SO? Have you talked about this kind of stuff? Elaborate.
- Where have you been with the SO? Which states, countries, entertainment places and theme parks, etc etc..
- Man-gagement gifts? Planning on getting him one? What?
- Rules of Engagement - Do you want him to talk to your parents? Your family? His family? Any rules and restrictions on how he does it (like nothing in public, etc)?
- LIW Survival Guide for newbies - Have any tips to share? Mine would be not to leave your toe rings around for him to steal for sizing reference!
