Isn't it divine! What cut is your diamond? I would love to see this with a puffy crowned old cut.

Omg! I was hoping that you would chime in! I didn’t realize you were going to do a project with this design- Do you mind if I use this as an inspiration??
It’s being recut now… it will be a transitional (my grandmother’s diamond, which I inherited, is a transitional and I’ve always loved them, I guess because they were only cut for such a short time and I love the broad facet pattern).
I’m obsessed with prongs and have been trying to decide which kind I want - this setting is similar the things I’ve been saving but these prongs are amazing!

My mistake @lulu_ma its 4.7 carat H colour SI clarity. All measurements are guesstimates. It sold at auction at Bonhams on 1st December for £44,400 (approx 54,500 USD) including the buyer’s premium
