Pretty cool that we have an African American president, I must say! I hope we see a woman in my lifetime!

Maybe an ASIAN woman. Hee hee.

There is no words, I am so excited. What a historical moment.

There''s still time, just be more careful about picking a VP when your turn comes.

TGal in 2020!

I have never seen so many people so emotional over the results of an election. I am so glad I got the chance to see this.

YAYYYYYYYYYY! This preggo lady is certainly happy that her boys will be born into a country that can elect someone intelligent and articulate for once.

Now let''s just see what he does with it!

(not sure if someone ever posted that already)

My fiance''s popping the champagne as we speak! A toast to my PS buddies, Obama and AMERICA!

Hehehe...no can do. Missed being born here by 8 months. I''ll just be a good citizen and keep voting.

I''m actually happy. I would have loved McCain as well (but not Palin, so he really lost me on that one), but I am so pleased that we elected a person of color. We had a very tough time through the LA riots and I wondered if people would ever get past color. I actually didn''t think we''d see a black president in my lifetime.

As a former Hillary supporter, I came to Obama relatively late in the game, but I''m so glad I did. Every day since I made my decision in May, I''ve heard and learned nothing but positives to substantiate my convictions.

What a tremendous man. What an honor to have him as our country''s representative to the world.

As a mommy to a beautiful biracial baby, I am so proud of how far our country has come. Hopefully by the time she comes of age to vote, discrimination will be a foreign concept altogether.

Can''t wait to hear him speak!

Agreed. I was behind Hillary, but Obama won me over completely! YES!

I am teary eyed too. This is so emotional. I am so happy! What a historical moment!
