Fruli isn't carried in NY. I've searched high and low for it. I've gotten into the habit of buying them at the LCBO by my parent's place when I'm in town and bringing them back with me but I run out!Date: 11/4/2008 10:54:53 PM

Oh no way! You must tell him the steak is fabulous! Yep, Fruli is my FAVOURITE beer! I have another 5 left from Belgium...but you can get it at the LCBO (most dont stock it, the one at Queens Quay and Jarvis does usually) for just over 2$ (CAD) a bottle! If you'd like, I can pick you some to take with you back to NYCDate: 11/4/2008 10:48:16 PM

My brother works there; he's the chef on the grill. I LOVE eating there; their eggs benedict (with smoked salmon) is to die for. If you like fruity beers, they have an awesome one called Fruli that tastes like strawberries. I think they have another one that tastes like apple pie or something like that. Whenever, I go home I always try to go for lunch; I'll be there next week.Date: 11/4/2008 10:42:23 PM

Hey CDNinNYC! Yep, quite a few times! We used to go for drinks very often (Mr. Kama and I are big fans of Belgian beer, and Mr. Kama used to travel to Europe every month or so for work and bring back Belgian beer by the case. Everytime we'd run out, we'd go down to Beer Bistro lol)Date: 11/4/2008 10:15:09 PM

OMG I didnt' know there is a thread on this! I'm not American, but I LOVE American polictics 100x more than Canadian! On CNN, they just announced that an insider from the GOP said that they dont have any hope for McCain.
(BTW, I've been meaning to ask you... when you lived in the King and Yonge area did you ever eat at the Beer Bistro?)![]()

My brother might be going on a beer buying trip to Belgium for the restaurant. Now, that's a business trip I wouldn't mind going on!
We should consider doing a Toronto GTG there!

ETA: Go Virginia!
