Oh, I like how Main can divide their electoral votes.

AP calls TN and SC for McCain.

Funny story: Here in PA, we''re not allowed to wear Obama gear (t-shirts, pins, stickers, etc.) to the polls, so instead I wore BLUE!!!

You cannot wear a T-shirt or a pin as a voter? I would think that that violated your freedom of speech! I could understand your not being able to do it if you were working at the polls that day! On the other hand, I do know that political literature is not allowed within a certain number of feet of the polls. Does the State of PA interpret your T-shirt, while on your body, as election literature? Has that issue gone before the PA Supreme Court yet?

Why are they calling SC with 2% reporting? NYT has it leaning for Obama.

Yeah CDN, my opinion is that all states should split their electoral votes.

Go Florida!

Good point, Deb! Actually, I don''t think I was quite accurate . . . you CAN wear a candidate''s t-shirt, pin, sticker, whatever, but you have to cover it up at some point. (I think that point might be once you get within that certain number of feet from the polls.) I agree . . . it seems overly restrictive.

I think you can call it early if your projections on how the vote splits lines up pretty well with the numbers that come in from reporting precincts.

Sorry if there''s any inaccurate information that gets posted...it just adds to the fun, right?

C'mon Richmond, Norfolk and Fairfax! Sadly my old home county already went red.

SC will go for McCain. Obamasupporters, keep your fingers and toes crossed for Virginia, though.

I''m hoping that my state (FL) will pull through this year and have a successful, non-controversial night!

Thanks mercoledi and JulieN!

I''m surprised that Obama is doing as well as he is as of 8:10EST in Indiana... THAT would be a big upset if Indiana went blue...

Chesterfield, but I never was old enough to vote there. Virginia is looking blechy, I was hoping (against hope) for better luck out west. C''Mon FLA!!!

OK, I have my eye on MSN.com as well as watching CNN, and MSN.com says Obama has 103 electoral votes so far while McCain has only 34!

In south florida

Broward county (my county) 76% Obama
Miami 60% Obama

Miami is surprising me A LOT
