It still cracks me up how different everything is from what I originally imagined!

Master bath curtain and the infamous cabinet that took 8 million years to find.

Did you upholster the headboard yourself? I like that the pillows match it! And cute bedding color... the blue must be really relaxing. I have some similar racks/hooks/etc from IKEA in our kitchen! I love that our knives don''t take up counter or drawer space anymore. You did a great job with everything!

My lovely and talented mother actually upholstered the headboard for us and made the pillows. She''s pretty cool that way.

That knife rack is just awesome - it''s so nice to free up the drawer space!!!

Gecko, I might have missed this - but where did you find the cabinet in the bathroom? DH and I put up shelves last month, but I think we still want to get a cabinet like yours. How is the space?

ETA: LOVE the photos of your new place. You've done a great job with it!

Elmorton, thanks! The cabinet is a $30.00 Target find. Of the 3 stores, only one had it, and they don't list it online for some reason. The space could be a bit better, there's just the one shelf inside the cabinet, but it works. Bed Bath and Beyond had one that had more space and additional shelves, but it was $50 or $60, and I was looking for a cheaper one, LOL.

ETA: I promise pics of the rest of it this week!

Just a few more pics to hang and whatnot.

ETAA: It holds TP and bath products quite handily though.

It all looks absolutely FAB. I love the wooden bathroom accessories for DH''s bathroom, and of course, the kleenex dispenser thingie!

Now, that bedroom looks lovely...just remember though, where to go when you need to iron those sheets!!

You are hilarious. I don''t think I''ve ever ironed a sheet, LOL!

I''ll wave as I drive by in April to visit the sister.

Thanks Gypsy! I'm loving it myself!

Hah - you should see the dining room, it's the "shoot where do I put this?!?!" catch all. Heh. The organization is persisting though, which is amazing. As for where I got the stuff:

Bedding & Shower Curtain are from Bed Bath and Beyond.

Headboard was courtesy of my wonderful mother, fabric on sale at Joann's ($13!!!).

Dressers, bedside tables, lamps and all the funky stainless stuff in the kitchen were from IKEA.

I had the pictures already, they're originally from Meijer (super grocery store, believe it or not).

Just wait until you see my clock collage above the couch.

ETA: I got new stainless knobs for the cabinet in the bathroom. The white ones were bugging me!!!

If you don''t mind me asking where did you get your kitchen table & chairs and the bookcase in your office? At a national place?

Thanks! The table is from a local superstore called Meijer. The bookshelf is from IKEA. I think IKEA also has some similar table sets.

I love the Ikea bookshelf and that you have bookshelves in the dining room! I saw a magazine article a long time ago about a home and the owner decided to have her dining room also be a mini library so she had tons of fancy books lining the walls. I love that you have a similar thing going.

Hee hee - it was partly out of necessity - there was nowhere else to put them! But it ended up working out really well and looks pretty cool.
