The Arrow Thread

I have been trying and trying to capture these arrows in pictures, but it is so hard...and my camera is not that great (ok, I am not a great photographer). I did get a couple here...I think...do you see them? Maybe 1...or 2...?
I am off to keep trying...

p.s. It might be easier for you if you take the pics with the ring sitting on something instead of your finger, that IS harder.

Ugh, I did that...I took so many pictures and most were blurry with the macro. I really need new batteries becuase mine are close to having their last recharge. I will keep trying, and I am determined to get a shot like the ones pictures here!

Do you think you could possibly be getting TOO close? Because your shot in here looks well focused. You don''t need to be right on top of it with the macro, so maybe try backing off a it, and always make sure you hold the camera still.

I think what I need to do it set the timer so it does not get that tiny jerk when I click the shutter. I don''t think that I am getting too close, but who knows...how do you get these close up shots of just the bling...is it cropping? If so, I have nooo idea how to do that, lol!

Yes. strm did a write up on this, try doing a search and see if you can find it. I could try and explain it, but it would take a long time, lol. If you can''t, I''ll see what I can do.

Yes I do remember seeing that thread...honestly, reading it will not help me...I am not very computer savvy, even when it is written out in front of my face! I will keep trying, I am determined. I will get pictures of perfect arrows and my photos will be cropped!!

I love this thread!! I can''t wait to post my pics when it''s ''all official''. I got a pic yesterday with Arrows and Fire!! I was so excited, jumping around and yelling, poor SO can''t understand why I am hanging out to post that pic - PSers will understand!!

I can''t remember who told us this, was it Ellen? But they are so right! Taking photos in the fridge is AWESOME

You can get really funky arrow shots where the arrows look silver - very cool. No pun intended!!

Ellen, I take that as a big compliment coming from you..who I see as the master diamond photographer! Those were pretty lucky shots because I seriously didn''t take many! I was just excited to fiiiiiiiinally post my new rings!
