TGIF--Let's get grossed out!

I once had the pleasure of sitting at a table next to a family with the mother openly flossing her teeth in full view of other diners in a restaurant!

I used to like a pub until one of us was served a pint of beer with a clump of slimy hair in it.

I used to work in a grocery store.
Once, while talking to the butcher, he pulled out a tissue from his pocket, licked it, and proceeded to clean the tops of the little plastic tubs of chicken livers. He licked and wiped several times, all the while in conversation with me.

This same butcher used to give a lady expired ground beef "for her dogs". But then she would show up at the store and try to peddle breakfast burritos to the employees. Hmmm....

A bandaid in a McDonald's quarter pounder. I was eating it and bit into something that was not food. I took off the bun and found a used bandaid. Beyond gross. I will never eat McDonald's again. Now every time I eat any type of sandwich not made by me, I remove the bread to take a look before I eat it.

Kewl thread, makes me hungry!!

My second through 6th jobs were in restaurants and grocery stores.
The grocery stores were by far the worst.
In a restaurant they are trained in food handling, not so in a grocery store.
Way to many times I saw boxes of frozen food left on the rack until partially thawed then thrown into the freezer by the stockers.
Bugs and more bugs and the chemicals to kill the bugs.
Rotting fruit all over the place.
Then you have a lot of gross things the customers do.
I cringe when I see grazers, do you know who else has touched that grape you just stole and what chemicals have been used on it?
