I am wondering about tension rings. I really like the look of them. Like this one: Niessing Omega Tension Ring. I wonder about possible size changes of the finger in the future. This ring cannot be resized without major work so how much of a problem would that be?
Thank you.

You might want to ask how much THEY could size the ring without having it remade (I guess 1/2 size max, but more likely 1/4). Finger sizes do not change very much with weight - but more with age (no personal experience, yet - my mother went up 1 ring size during the past 20 years, since her 30s, and no, she does not read this forum) and temperature (probably 1/2 size when exposed to hot or cold temperature - and then you can just move the ring temporarily from one hand or finger to next, if taking my own doings as example).

This more a Q for an anatomist (there's one in the other room here, taking questions

Hope this helps. The ring is awesome

Many tension setting companies offer resizing policies (like creating a new ring at a substantial discount should your ring size ever change). One more thing: be sure to consider mostly VS and occasionally some SI 1's for those rings: feathers are not appropriate for this kind of rings.

Oh, I forgot the most important thing: IT'S GORGEOUS!
