Tennis Necklace Opinions

Hello PS Community,

I am looking for a wedding necklace for my soon to be wife for our wedding day. I have a particular style and design in mind that is a bit outside of what I think is traditional tennis necklace. I have narrowed it down to 3 choices but am having a hard time decerning quality and price to quality ratios. Please let me know if you have any opinion and suggestions.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! What a wonderful gift! I don't know a ton about tennis necklaces, but here are some observations.

You've got 2 different styles - classic and halo/cluster. Is there a way to find out which one she would prefer? Also find out what length she likes.

I've seen Badgley Mischka tennis bracelets in person, and they look lovely - but I wasn't inspecting them, so that's just a general observation. I don't know how long they've been in the lab market. I usually associate that brand with clothing.

A few PSers have posted about their tennis necklaces from Karaters. Maybe this thread can help?

Thank you very much for the well wishes! Honestly I want it to be a surprise for her so I'd like to keep this as covert as possible but throughout the years I think I learned about her style and her likes and dislikes and think she will be pleased with both styles.

I'm leaning toward JA given their brand reputation, return policy and I also had luck with them before. I used JA for the engagement ring and it turned out great.

Thanks for linking that thread. I have seen it before and did find Karaters through it but one of my observations was that everyone who mentioned Karaters there had very little post counts (and I found the same usernames posting on Reddit about Karaters as well). I do like their price-points and wonder if there are any tenured users who have experiences with them?

Do you have enough time to order two (or three) and compare in person? I’d be curious about the Karaters and JA. And it’s worth seeing if they flip, how heavy they are, if they seem better for special occasion wear vs casual/daily wear, etc.

Congratulations, and I agree with @0515vision. Flipping is a definite consideration. You don't want to find out when she first puts it on. Have someone you know wear it around your house for a couple of hours.
