I'm looking for a diamond tennis bracelet and don't know where to begin. I mainly wear all 18k yellow gold. However, I'm seeing that white gold is generally preferred in tennis bracelets. I'm not sure what's a good every day carat weight for the diamonds. What color and clarity to choose.

Anyone care to give me some insight?

Fyi, this is a 5ct 7" bracelet on me. 14k white gold. Color I and clarity VS2. 4 prong. Any comments on this one?

CByxMuNRRVCyMnPwGLC+2Q.jpg My bracelet in 3 prong, 14K white gold with .13 point stones for a total carat weight of 5.89. Stones are F/G excellent/ideal cut stones. I wear it every day and it sparkles, even when dirty! This is a great size for every day wear and very blingy.

Yours looks beautiful. How do you find out how many pointers and what grade of cut? Im so new at this. :D

How long have you had it if you don't mind me asking? I'm afraid with white gold that it will yellow over time.

I have had this for about 6 weeks. I would suggest you check out local jewelry stores and try different size stones. And ask a lot of questions. Such as, what size are the stones, color grade? Determine your wrist size and what feels best for you. For instance, my wrist is 6" and I prefer a 7" bracelet, I could go with a 6.5" bracelet but I like the feel of the 7" much more It's a personal choice. I would not purchase from a B&M store, I would find one of our online retailers used by many on this forum to purchase after trying many out. I suggest you go for the best possible stones you can afford as the sparkle of the stones is very important and you want to see them glisten on your wrist. I would rather go smaller with high quality stones rather than lower quality, larger stones. For instance some 4 prong settings can make the stones look square and some are set and the stones look round. I prefer 3 prong as you don't see as much metal, more diamond. I did not want the stones much larger for every day wear however, it's still substantial enough to dress up. My future tennis bracelet will have larger stones for those blingy, dressy times! This will come later after I've finished my current wish list

This one is 14k WG 7ct G VS, they're 15 pointers. This is an estate piece from the 70s I purchased from the original owner. I've never seen a setting quite like it, and it's perfect for me because I like sturdy jewelry....I am known for killing dainty pieces. I added my rings for comparison, which are set in platinum F VS. It's quite a light show all together!

That's really beautiful @m-2-b! @AprilBaby, I agree your bracelet IS gorgeous!

@Beachgal18, the stones on the bracelet you posted look really big. That's quite a look for 5 ct.

Wow gorgeous! Do you have a wrist shot? I initially wanted 18k yellow, but there aren't many options out there to try on.

Wow! Beautiful!

You think so? I thought they looked small. I was contemplating on a bigger size. :D
In relation to the Rolex they look really good-sized, but then again, that might be a ladies' Rolex, and I have a men's mid-size Yachtmaster, so my scale is probably off.
