I''m engaged!
It was so low-key, but that''s just us, so I was really happy. I was helping him unpack some this in his new house (yay!) and I got up to go to the bathroom and when I came back there was a ring box on top of some of the moving boxes. He asked me if I wanted to open, but I just felt frozen (after all that waiting even!). So he opened it and put it on my finger. I was like, "aren''t you going to ask me?" and then I realized he was all choked up and couldn''t really say anything. Then he said, "I don''t need to... I already know the answer in my heart." And then we scrapped unpacking for the rest of the day we called family and friends and celebrated. It was fun.
I LOVE the ring. He asked me for a few guidelines (I told him white gold, less than carat, simple, round... and read pricescope!), but other than that it was a complete surprise, and he did a fabulous job!
Its a 0.65ct, I, VVS1, H&A, AGS000 from James Allen. The setting is just the simple 2mm comfort fit solitaire.
I guess I''m just used to seeing mall store diamonds, because I can''t get over how SPARKLY it is!
I know you all will want pics... I tried to take some, but I have no idea how!
Anyway, I can''t thank you all enough for your support and keeping me occupied during the wait! Hopefully more good news is on the way!
