Hi Pearl sisters!

I am planning on getting a pair of tahitian pearl earrings but am not sure what different color tahitian pearls looks like in real life. I tried finding a comparative picture reference but could not get a clear idea of which color I would like. Please could you help me understand, preferably with IRL pictures, how different color tahitian pearls compare?

Thanks in advance.

This is a pic posted by Miriam Reed of The Pearl Distributors on another board.

The colour descriptions from top (Row 1) to bottom (Row 3), left to right:
Row 1: White with ivory/rosé overtones; silver; silver with aqua overtones; light blue grey with rosé overtones; pistachio
Row 2: Light gold; aqua; peacock; pewter with rosé overtones; copper
Row 3: Bronze with aubergine overtones; cherry brown; charcoal; dark green (almost green-black) with mostly green overtones and a bit of peacock overtone; dark green blue with green and silver overtones.

Personally, I love blues, followed by greens.

DK :))

dk168 - Thanks for posting the pictures! I am definitely drawn to the 2nd row pearls (yum!) with a few bright emerald green pearls thrown in.
