The twist is called a braid I believe. Many designers use it. Personally I would pass on Tacori unless she really loves a specific one. I would start a seperate thread and request rings with braids in them and see what everyone on PS can come up with. You might find something you like much better.

I think this is a great idea! I'll start a thread! Lots of eyes searching is much better than one pair!! THANKS

Do you mean the wedding band? I wouldn't get the matching band. I'd get a straight diamond Tacori band anyway. Can you link the band?

The band is shown here: http://www.since1910.com/wedding-rings/tacori/tacori-contoured-pave-diamond-band-2565b-pi1309.aspx
I really don't like the shape though!

Michael B is just soooo expensive (meaning overpriced because of the brand). I just wouldn't do that.

Example:

http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/michael-b-jewelry/rings/56P1/ (this price is c.r.a.z.y.)

Michael B does seem a bit over-priced. I'll probably have to stick more around the 5K range.

Hey! I saw you end up going with the diamonds all the way around, correct? I'm needing some advice and wanted your take on the ring now that you've had a little while.

Thanks!

I don't think the original poster has been around since he bought his ring. But most of us would tell you to at least leave a sizing area at the bottom of the shank. Many people put the diamonds down to the 4 and 8 o'clock area (or 5 and 7). Many people have a change in ring size over the years, and there could be damage to the diamonds on the very bottom, too, from grabbing things such as door knobs and handles, etc. If you have any other questions about settings or diamonds, please feel free to post them in the Rocky Talky forum!
