Hi everyone,

I think I've finally found the perfect diamond, but I'm wondering about the table...which is 54%

Other specs:
1.3 carat round G ideal cut
7.03 w 6.98 l 4.37 d
54% table 62.4% depth
36 and 40.6 angles

Thoughts?? Is the table too small?

Much appreciated

It scores well on the HCA - 1.8, and is actually in the FIC range. With that crown angle and small table, it will have a lot of fire (colored light return) which (to me) is a good thing.

Who is the stone from? Can you get idealscope images?

my stone had a 54% table and a 62.4 depth. Is a very good performer and very firey

If the crown angle was less by .5 % it would be within the AGS ideal proportion range, but with 36 degrees it is still in AGS proportion excellent range so it should be a great light performer.

If submitted to AGSL and DQD Platinum report issued could still get 0 cut grade depending on PGS results - cut grade is not delimited by (or limited to) min/max on proportions charts.
Not that it matters - the stone wasn't submitted to AGSL and a grade of AGS0 just means that it's an AGS0. By itself the AGS0 grade is no guarantee of light return "type" or "character", or of a certain "level" of optical symmetry or precision of cut - very important to actually see the stone in-person regardless of cut grade IMO.

OP, need more info to begin to make any judgment calls but no flags in what you've posted thus far.

I see your point. We definately need more info. On another note, you seem to be fairly knowledgable in regards to diamonds, so would it be alright if you gave me your opinion on my newest post in regards to the feather inclusion in the diamond being eye clean?

Thank you for all your input so far! What other information can I provide? (Clearly a novice)
The diamond is from Blue Nile and had a GIA report.

Thanks for your help! The diamond arrived and it's so beautifullly fiery!
