Hey,

This may be a super-stupid question, but I did a search and couldn''t find an answer.

Yesterday I was looking at eternity bands and when the light glared off of the tables, I noticed that the tables on the tiny diamonds where not exactly the same shape. I was wondering what that means. In other words, does the shape of the table indicate the quality of the cut? If so, what is the most desired shape for a princess table?

there''s a few different shapes. as long as you think it''s pretty, it doesn''t really matter which shape it is.

Paul from Infinity addressed this a while back but I cant find the thread.

The difference in table-shape is often, but not always, because of a different table-size.

In princess-cuts, one can also cut some minor facets in the crown differently, and as a result, the table will become rounder, in stead of the more squarish outline.

Live long,

thanks Paul!
