price $3,520. For this diamond. Also what is surface graining and does it effect it as a VVS1? It is eye clean under 10x loop

I would keep looking regardless of price. The cut is on the cusp on deep, so it’s going to face up small of its carat weight. Additionally, the crown is quite steep and the pavilion is on lower end of acceptable, though most will recommend sticking to 40.9 to 40.6, so you won’t have ideal light return.
I think you could easily drop your clarity to VS1 and have an eye clean diamond, leaving more in your budget for cut or carat weight if you so desire.
