That really does not appeal to me at all.

The jewellery in her catalogue is very appealing, and I admit to being pleasantly surprised by the step-cut oval.

It doesn't really appeal to me either....but I am sure different is what some people are looking for.

for some reason my brain can''t seem to process the step cut and rounded edges--it looks so wrong. but maybe that''s because I''ve never seen a rounded step cut (how''s that for an oxymoron?)

I''d like to see it in person, though!

The whole middle just looks like one ginormous bow tie waiting to happen...

That was exactly what I was thinking! We spend all this time trying to help people avoid bowties, and this stone accentuates it! I love ovals and I love step cuts, but not within the same stone!

Ditto!!

I think for the right person that will be the right stone!

I am sure it will take a while to gain momentum...but its a fun twist on an old classic

Check this out ... a new cut. Apparently she designed a whole high-high-high-end jewelry collection
So basically...its way overpriced for a new crazy cut?

Paying for the ''name'' once again, only this time, I don''t find ''sparklies" synonymous with "Ivanka"

I''m sure someone will love these rings. And I see someone already does! We all have our own tastes, but to me, it looks...off. I want to call it an oxymoron, that was the first thing I thought of - obviously not the right word for thsi stone, but...just odd.

My favorite part is under the description of bridal rings. "Her collection of rings evoke a sense of romance and timeless elegance seldom found today." The rings are lovely, but they are also the same classic styles that are found in most lines. It is just a bold statement. I find it hard to believe that you couldnt find a similar "timeless elegance" other places.

Ditto, ditto, ditto on the oval step cut.
I''m sure it appeal to some.

But I have looked at her collection in the past
and there are many scrumptious pieces, the art deco
earrings, the tassel earrings, the line necklace with
the different diamond cuts, all nice, IMHO. But I do agree
the Bridal collection has no wow factor, same o'', same o''.

I only looked under the bridal section, and other than the step cut over (which I wouldn't buy but I think looks quite cool) there doesn't seem to be anything new or fresh or that hasn't already been done.

Asscher is misspelled on her website site (Ascher, haha).

Well, it''s interesting but holds no appeal for me.
