May I ask you where the heart ringing from? Tiffany or DK? I really love it, and would like to have one in the future.

Thanks @junebug17, luckily it’s winter and that gives a little looser fit. Will probably have to get it done by summer though.

Thank you! That’s good to know, because I’m located in Europe, and even if I had a heart stone, I wouldn’t be able to send the stone to DK because of tax reasons.
Did he made the bezel setting according to the measurements on the certificate of your stone?

Yes. I sent him the cert. I bought the heart off LT and told him I wanted a double bezel. He set tiny rubies on the inside too for me and he was relatively inexpensive actually. He made the cad prior to receiving the Diamond.

Thank you! What do you mean by rubies on the inside? I mean are the rubies there for an optical reason or only for esthetic reason?

I always have him put two rubies on the inside of any ring he makes for me. I have him set them at 3 and 9 o clock on the inside, burnish set so they touch against my finger. It’s just a thing I like.

FWIW, I’ve never paired these 2 bands together; just never occurred to me! The diamond one was given to me by DH for my 40th bday. Years later I had it transformed from half to a full eternity. The metal only band I admired in a jewelry store, but told the owner I prefer eternities, and that the platinum made it too costly given I have so many other bands. She offered to make it in silver with the same YG pattern as the one in her shop. Idk if it’s Argentinean silver (may be misspeaking here); but it never tarnishes - even if unworn for a year. Thx for reading!!
