split shank ring

My new rb in a split shank setting has arrived, I've only been able to take a quick teaser shot with a phone camera... more to follow when I get my hands on a decent camera.

SparklyOEC, it was made by my local jeweller, King St Design in Sydney.

For now I've only got another poor quality pic. I'm borrowing an SLR for a photo shoot tomorrow, so stay posted.

Hello,
Really its looking very nice. With a split shank, a cleaved metal band separates into either two or three distinct parts before joining the ring's crown which aid in providing stability to a large gem or diamond.
