I find this ring and think it will fun to share it with you.

8.13 ct diamonds, 8.69 sapphires briolettes.

Original... very unique!

Do you like it?

I do like it, I think it's pretty but I wonder how long those briolettes would last?

It's a little too "busy" for my taste, but certainly unique.

I like it, I think more jewelry designers should add dangly things to their rings. I think it adds a fun, kinetic aspect to a ring, which is otherwise a very static piece of jewelry.

If you think about it, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, they all have some motion to them, rings just kind of sit there. So I like that this one has some energy and interest to it.

Nice to hear from you again stci
Very unique and fun - scaled way way up it would make a great pillbox hat!!!
I share babynurs's concern about the longevity of the briolettes.
Are you taking it home?

Hello nice VapidLapid!

No.... impossible for me to buy it cause the price is around 10 000$. But if I had money I think this one would be mine.

Curious to know your opinion about the size of those briolettes girls. Do you think .15 ct each is realistic?

It looks to me that there are a total of 18 briolettes and you say there are 8.69 cts of sapphire, which makes these about .49 ct each.

I have the urge to twirl it around and around!

OMG! They are biggggg!

I have the urge to twirl it around and around!

LOL :D

They are indeed.
I see you have a nice new avatar. Is this your wedding set?

It's the I Dream of Jeannie Ring.

And not my taste. But lots of entertainment value. Waste of perfectly good real stones, of course, as you could have the same fun with sims. But really, the "OMG someone thought this was a good idea and COMMITTED TO IT" factor just wouldn't have been the same.

Just a new picture. I decide to wear "Little Miss Sunshine" without the band cause it always slide under the ring and scratch horribly. I have to say I miss the "symbol" of marriage but it's better for the look.

Ho hey! It's my 32nd wedding anniversary today!

I think this ring is FUN and if it is a ring to wear on occasion then I think it is FABULOUS!

I actually think it's hideous :cheeky:

I think its neat, and would be fun to wear. I'd be jingling and jangling it constantly!

It clearly belongs in a book on modern designs. Would I buy it? Unlikely, because it is not for everyday wear. Would I wear it if someone gave it to me as a present? Certainly!

It also resembles huge rings worn by teenagers. Very stylish, BTW.

Happy anniversary and I would rather play with the briolettes on a bracelet..

agreed. personally I think it is ludicrous and just OTT for the sake of being so but to each their own, right!

Aside from the impracticality, it’s not my taste. Definitely more of a fun ring but I cringe at the though of the damage the poor briolettes will sustain.

I'm afraid that it's not to my taste either. Whenever I look at rings that have bits hanging off, I wonder what would happen if you had to put your hand in your pocket? I can see this getting caught and twisted on everything!

while i like it, it would drive me crazy: i'm rather a clutz and would catch it on all kinds of things.

It's interesting but definitely not my taste. It reminds me of a seat cushion with tassels.

Shhh... that looks like the stool I have in my clothing closet

The ring is very unique and cute though not particularly practical.

It looks like a hat. It reminds me of the Doctor Seuss book, Do You Like My Hat?

The one little birdie creature keeps going up to others and asking:

"Do you like my hat?"

The reply is:

"No, I do not like it."

I like it. For some reason it makes me think of dancing!

Belly dancing! :naughty:

It's the car-accident-of-jewelry, you know you shouldn't look again but you cannot help yourself.

I go with with French in these situations: Jolie laid.

Cool submittal, thanks for posting this thread, sometimes there is so mcuh taste and restraint going on here that it makes for some sameness that is uninteresting, given time.

I'd love to see a top view! Looks like one of those fun rings to wear that gets you lots of comments!

Stoniegirl, I fail to comprehend, so please pardon my French, but "jolie laid" sounds to me like something one would read in brad pitt's diary.
