Ok I am going to block out the 18th on our calendar. Southpark area is fine with us, or anywhere else in Clt as far as that goes. It may well work out that her E ring setting will be sitting at Lions jewelers @ Phillips Place waiting to be picked up about then. Wouldnt that be cool ?!!! I purchased it around the 8th of Sep, and they said 4-6 weeks for arrival.

As would I, princesss.....I''m still hearing my friend will need me "soon" to work weekends but I''m hoping that day (19th), if work has begun for me, I can take a long lunch. I''m doing my best, everyone! I want to meet all of you!!! And I can eat anywhere!!

We are in for the 19th as well. No sense in doing this if everyone cant participate. We like almost anything as far as food, so you guys decide and we are there.

Dont know if you follow the colored stone thread, but we might have some bling to show on the 19th! Dont know if I can get it set and propose by then but it''s at least a possibility. You can at least see the pics on that thread.

Oh sure you can!!! All you need is one night after it is set to arrange a special evening to propose!!

I''ll try to come the 19th. It''ll be a little more complicated, but I''d like to come. I''d probably be a little late.

well, we already made arrangements to stay in raleigh, and hadn't even thought to stay in charlotte. we actually thought the two cities were closer

Raleigh is not as far as you are thinking. I drive to Raleigh once a week on average for work, and it rarely takes me more than 2 1/2 hours. It is interstate the whole way and with the new bypass in Greensboro there are no traffic problems to speak of.

Okay, guys, we should probably figure out a time to meet. Outside of Cheesecake around when? Do we want an early or a late lunch? And I''ve never eaten there...are we going to need reservations, or will we be able to just walk in?

Sundays are made for late lunches in our book, so anytime from 1:00 on will work for us. I too have never been to the cheesecake factory so someone else will have to chime in on the reservation arrangements. FI had a funny thought last night, she said we should do a group attack on Finks and Diamond Direct after lunch! Can you imagine the poor SA faced with that?
