Very very much. Sadly I think there might be the beginning of a crack in the shank where it was resized, so I'll take it to a jeweler tomorrow. Want to be careful bc I would be heartbroken if I lost/broke it!YAY!!!! Do you love it???![]()
Exactly! It's amazing and I love it SO MUCH! Plus, this satiates my desire for a glowy/velvet/cornflower blue stone, which is good bc that color sapphire is insanely expensive!

Bahhhhhh, the shank needs $250 of repairs. Very sad. The resizing by the second owner's jeweler wasn't done right, so its developed a crack. So they'll have to redo it. Sad, but even if I knew the ring would cost $250 extra in repairs I still would have insisted on buying it. Pics of the crack.
Jeweler's Goldsmith is out of town until later this month, so I'm not supposed to wear it other than at home or typing at a desk. Bah I'm so sad!

Yes, but I wouldn't have known how much to offer. And honestly, if the seller had insisted on the asking price I still would have paid it. She said she got it resized by a local jeweler and my guess is that she just didn't realize that the quality of work wasn't that great. I'm going to email her about it, but honestly would't even know what to say. It's not her fault that the jeweler didn't do stuff totally right, and I'm sure the crack wasn't there when she got it back from the jeweler. It likely developed over time with stress of picking stuff up, etc.If you had known about the crack would you have asked for a lower price? To me that is very apparent and if I was selling a piece of jewelry with a noticeable flaw I would disclose it.
haha right!? I don't want another jeweler to mess it up though. There's probably 1-2 choices I could ask, but I'm definitely staying away from all "maul" stores since they would just make it worse!Sad!!! I’d have to send it off to another jeweler because I have absolutely zero patience.![]()
Thankfully the other trustworthy jeweler in town was able to take it in for repairs yesterday and it should be done by next week. HOORAY! Then I can wear it all the timeSad!!! I’d have to send it off to another jeweler because I have absolutely zero patience.![]()
