Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

This sold instantly once it was listed this afternoon, but I love it and the price was so good!

Totally off topic, but speaking of Swords, this was my Whole Foods order last night. It made me think of that SNL Jepoardy skit from many years ago!

OT but not quite, the tariffs are planned to kick in for items under $800, so I'm predicting higher prices for antiques, here and abroad :(

Is that a chip on the left side though?

For that price i personally would be fine with that, it's "SOMEBODYs gotta buy it" not "YOU gotta buy it"... hahaha

I 100% want the bargain, and like many bargains, sometimes you're getting a scratch and dent.... ;)2

I bought this and i am returning it if anyone is in the market! Nothing wrong with it, i just bought a few things and decided to keep a different item

I love this

I was so smitten! I am actively trying to downsize my collection to get ready for a move, and yet I found myself searching on ebay for "vintage diamond sword pin" haha! Alas/Thankfully, there were none nearly so unique and pretty in the same price range.

@lavenderdragonfly23 were you looking for this in size 6? Its in my cart right now but I will happily release it for you. I'm supposed to be looking for a 20th anniversary gift for myself and a pendant was the next thing on my list, not a tiffany ring. But there are so shiny goodies distracting me...

You should buy this!!! I’m looking for the platinum/rose gold one …. These are SO hard to find!

Thank you so much for thinking of me- this made my weekend!❤️

I like that they describe the condition details as "Faint scratches and wear throughout metal" when the band is visibly broken. That being said, I dig it.

3+ ct fancy light yellow old mine, seems like a good price

I hope someone buys it so we can see! I get uneasy when I see uneven color distribution. I bugs me when there are clumps of tint.

Just a note for the many on here who have lamented ways to consign jewelry they're trying to part with, I just got an email from Dover Jewelry and wanted to share with you all. I don't know what their commissions are, but may be worth a call for those who are interested.

I've sold with them and they are great. Their commission is fair imo.

I did not and I’m scared.

Me three … I want it. It would match everything I own beautifully :lol-2:

…. If I sold my car … how would that work, hitch hike to work? Someone would pull over because I blinded them with my diamonds and surely steal it… now I’m out a car and a bracelet. Hmmmm, what else…. I could return that workout bra I got at Target on clearance this weekend…. I thought I saw an extra cheese cutter in the drawer today… am I are there? Nope, rats. That’s all I got.

I’m pretty sure you have a spare kidney (although I doubt that would even be enough!!)

The listing title is unclear but this is a three stone with 3 x 0.75ct diamonds. The setting is nice. Listing claims the stones are I1-I3 which means they might have visible inclusions... but maybe that doesn't matter for us oldies with bad eyesight or if you wanted to make earrings... price is good!

I always wonder when $$$ pieces come up on IG, and sometimes they are a very specific taste (like unique cocktail rings), how often they are sold so quickly. Who are the people buying all of these things so quickly? I can see semi-impulse purchases of 10k or lower, and I can see classic items for $$$, but am I wrong to assume that only a small number of people can afford to buy $$$ items on a daily/weekly basis? How are there still enough clients for each piece for them so sell so quickly at such prices? For the classic items, presumably the clients who could afford a 20-30K + tennis bracelet or classic ring already have one or five at this point? Does anyone have any insights? I am genuinely curious.

This is so pretty! I think it would be worth asking for more photos if anyone is interested. I think it is gorgeous.

I am not quite sure but some of these IG sellers have SO MANY followers; for example estatejewelrymama has 92k and of those followers perhaps a large percentage are passionate about jewelry as we are on PS. So it's different from a customer who may visit a jewelry store to buy that one time engagement ring. Also it seems many are based in CA and NYC where there are some wealthy individuals...idk just a thought! And those sellers like Gilded Lane or SinCity have prices that are way more competitive than B&M stores and other online retailers - even with the higher priced items.

Thank you for the insights! This makes a lot of sense! Somehow I never really realized how many eyes are on these sellers online - I guess out of almost 100K people who see an item there are a lot of potential buyers!
I happened to join a live off and on for a couple of hours last week while I was charging my car (usually I don't have enough time in a row to watch them) and I saw an IRL acquaintance join and buy 2 items within the first 15 minutes, so that was the first time my eyes were opened to how many people are really on IG shopping!

This is still available! Posting again because they changed the link (I guess to fix the title). And I really want someone to buy it so we can see it. :P2

Think I'm sending it back. It is pretty and white but it just doesn't grab me like I want it to. The weather is overcast today, so not the best pics and all my videos are terrible! The center just doesn't light up like I wanted.

Oh I almost forgot! I bought this one next. It's the size I would need for a specific project I have in mind, but realistically it won't be anytime soon, I'm in no rush. It just seemed like such a good price. I named her Bonnie but then ended up returning her. I actually think it's a pretty stone, but didn't have the classic OEC facet pattern I like. I estimate I to K color and VS or maybe SI1 to be safe. I couldn't see any inclusions with a loupe, but I didn't try my camera lens attachment. I can post videos if anyone is interested. Oh, and the setting is damaged. Which was actually great because I didn't have to pay for return shipping!
