The cut is beautiful. I would like to see a lab report to know the condition of the girdle and polish/symetry. I’m always wondering about stone having work done when they look so perfect.

ETA once again wondering at the logic of not getting a $100 lab report for a 10k stone. Are profit margins that slim? Could be.

Oh does it not have a lab report. I didn't look carefully as usually if it doesn't have a report they would say estimated K and whatever clarity. But it looked pretty confident from the description. I'm not in the market but I suggest @lavenderdragonfly23 ask for the GIA cert if any lol.

I have no idea actually but I would assume if it had a report they would say!

All this guessing is why I don’t like IG sales as a rule. I’m some crotchety old lady taking about the good old days of demanding transparency!

Yeah I hate when things are ambiguous and could be taken either way. I do appreciate the transparency in listing the price though. I cringe when I see things like DM for more info. I just wish they listed everything up front so I can decide if I need to DM them or not.

This kind of thing was something we used to rail about on PS back in the day! At the dawn of e-commerce we demanded more I guess.

Whitney actually sent the Gia report without me even asking :love: … she appears to be true antique. I didn’t ask for pricing. She’s soooo pretty though, someone should buy this. I gotta keep saving, I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel or I might grab this one.

I hate that too. If the stone is what you say it is, get a report. Especially over a certain value. For smaller stones, I get it. But for over $4,000, to me, I would want a report for a diamond. For a colored stone, it depends, especially on the value of the setting or if I know it was cut by that vendor. That's a different thing. Some vendors sell very large stones with no report. I don't understand if and I'm definitely not their market.
 
Totally delulu here - but I’m on the hunt for a 5.5mm high color diamond for my clover. As cheap as possible (perhaps rescued from a huge nugget gold setting I could scrap? Freed from a hideous brooch?). Thanks.

I’m glad it has a report… why not include the image in your advertisement? I suppose it encourages customers to contact you.

Yup looks authentic! The signs are all there! And she did post pricing so that’s a plus. I thought pricing was good, but 10k isn’t chump change though. When I see things I love and don’t have the money I always say to myself “another one will come along”. Somehow, another one always does.

Prefer OEC but would consider MRB too. Some inclusions OK. Chip OK if I can hide with a prong. Can’t do lower than an H/I though.

sorry, should have made that clearer with my "up to"! For those unfamiliar, you get $40 back on a $250 purchase, $80 on $500, $250 on $1250, and $500 on $2500.
