I have bid on a few items, but never won anything. You have to approach with a bit of a critical eye, as I don't know if you can get any info or photos beyond what is posted in the listings. Unlike eBay, even though there is an "end time", as long as people keep bidding, they will keep extending the time, much like a real auction. So you need to know what your top threshold is, or it's easy to end up bidding more than you had planned on. And then you have shipping and fees on top. And you have to provide your CC info in advance of bidding.
