Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

I have been shopping for an art deco diamond ring and I found this one and i LOVE it and think its an amazing price... but i have so many all diamond rings i decided to buy a sapphire one, but someone needs to buy this!!

They actually have a bunch of gorgeous things and i think good prices, but this particular ring is a great price (as I have been obsessively shopping for an art deco... LOL!)

The jeweler sent me this because I asked for a perspective shot, they're SUPER nice

Completely irrelevant to me, curse my big hands!, but size 4.5 eternity in platinum for $745 for our small-fingered friends who I currently hate:

Reporting back on this ring. I don’t have much experience with smaller OECs but this one lacks sparkle and from what I could see in my loupe, it there are some chips, nicks and cracks. BUT the engraving is beautiful, and added bonus of engraving of 8-12-34 which made my heart skip a beat.

4th band from the bottom

Have you thoroughly cleaned it? Are you keeping it? Love that engraving.

For more pics see the TRR rescue thread. Inked bought and returned but did love it.

I just peeked and it and it’s super fiery. Love it! Hope someone here buys it.

Not sure if these have been posted before. Both are on sale rn. Sweet antique sapphire rings.

The first one looks like it was manufactured around 1919 or 1818–not sure from the “u” hallmark which is the correct year. Birmingham assay, size 6.75

Second one also Birmingham assay, 1906. Size 6.5

Speaking of… March 18 anyone?

Let me know if you are looking for this date, size 7, 18k yg, 2mm antique band

I soaked it in hot water and Dawn and scrubbed with a baby toothbrush so it should be clean. I'm on the fence but leaning towards keeping it; it's not perfect, but has character (and helps that price seemed reasonable). 8-)

Buy some household ammonia. Mix 3 tbs household ammonia, 6tbs boiling water, couple drops dish soap. Soak for 10 mins then scrip with baby brush. Will be as clean as it can possibly get! I’m sure there’s got caked up around those stones

@Dreamer_D is this safe for colored stones, too? Thank you!

I did! I can't resist old cut bands-it's an illness :geek2:

lol. I just commented on another thread about your many bands. And that was before I saw this. Green with envy over here

That was a smart choice. They are SO hard to find. Eternity bands are a relatively new invention so most have modern cuts. I have a single cut one but now I want a bigger one with euro cuts lol

Thank you for the tip! It did make it look a little more sparkly, but the bath water wasn't caked in grime afterwards, so slightly less satisfying. ;-)

But yes, I've decided to keep it for the stack rotation. Thank you @newtojewels for TRR find!

yay, I'm glad you're keeping it! The engraving is super charming.

Anyone have $33k in spare change lying around? Seems like a "deal" for Kat Florence if it retails for $130k, but price wasn't listed on retailer's site. That spinel looks like a big yummy piece of candy...and all Colorless IF diamonds!
