I have one that is very similar to the Traub, only in size 8 and with more elaborate engraving. The engraved bands take a little getting used to (for me).

Gah! That's pretty much my size and it's a great price. If it were rose gold, I'd probably grab it. I've been holding off on a couple of Cartier trinities priced at about $700.

Oh now that is lovely! I worry about 18k white gold though and the plating needed. I have a platinum engagement ring and next to each other, you're likely to see the color showing more when the plating is needed. SHOOT! The price is awesome though!

When I was looking on Ebay for an engraved ring in "our" size I saw so many similar to this one for 4 times the price. :o
I have a "bus theory" on Ebay.. if you miss the bus.. another one will be along momentarily so don't feel bad if you pass this ring up! It has to be just what you want or else it's not worth any price. :lol:

Oh man, that's fabulous! Too bad I don't know that the hubs would be on board with spending money on a ring now. Scheesh! We're remodeling the house and making tons of changes...but I did email it to him! :lol:

I was tempted by this french cut diamond and ruby eternity band (size 6.25) but I think I will pass and keep my eye on the prize (an OEC stone to set in a pendant). I've emailed the store about the stone size in mm and will update if I hear from them.

I think it's a pretty good price for french cuts. They are so expensive!

ETA: of course it depends on their mm dimensions. If they are super small, then yes, it's pretty pricey.

The individual stones are 1.7mm. How does that affect the value?

I can't say I'm the frenchie expert exactly, but I'd say it makes it reasonably priced. I hope others chime in.
