Looking for this type of setting with ROUND BAND (no knife edge, flat or other) in white gold or platinum. Want the diamond CULET to SIT LOW because I'm very active and don't want the stone hitting things. My target stone will be about 2 carats or a hair less.

Would a basket help? I have 2 mm eternity bands I want to stack....perhaps a basket would not allow the rings to sit flush....not sure?

HELP! I'm open to ideas!

Thanks in advance!!

Do you want prongs? Bezel? Etc?

You will probably want to avoid most peg-head settings, as they will hoist your diamond up high.

Basket might be a good way to go, but the donut at the bottom may make stacking rings unable to sit completely flush, unless you have a wider band. Let me know what kind of setting you want (# of prongs etc.) and I'll see what I can dig up for you!

ETA: Elle_Chris has an absolutely stunning Scholdt semi bezel that sits pretty low, with no prongs to catch on anything: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-sholdt-semi-bezel.93098/page-2
