Solitaire pendant reset

I upgraded my original diamond from a .9 carat transitional to a 2.5 carat OEC a few months ago, and my plan was always to reset my original diamond into a pendant. My dad found the original diamond for my husband and helped him buy it for me. My dad passed away 16 years ago, so I feel like it is a part of him that I have with me. I wanted a simple, classic pendant that I can wear every day close to my heart. I finally got it done and it’s exactly what I always wanted. I know these aren’t the best pictures, but I wanted to share them anyway.

Thanks everyone! My dad was so excited when my husband asked for his blessing that he couldn’t help himself from getting involved in the diamond search. My dad’s good friend owns a pawn shop and is a gemologist, so that’s where he found the diamond. My dad was so into jewelry and nice things - he bought me a Rolex from the same pawn shop for my high school graduation - I got totally picked on in college for my Rolex haha! He would have loved Pricescope! So I feel like my obsession with diamonds/jewelry is a little piece of him I inherited from him!
