I'm so excited to share the beautiful ring my beloved sweetie gave to me when he proposed on my birthday, Christmas Eve. The center stone is a .485 I VS2 Brian Gavin Signature H&A (AGS000) and the side stones are .20 F, VS clarity. The lovely 18k rose gold setting is also by Brian Gavin – the design and workmanship are impeccable. My ring size is 5.25.
I know I don't have to explain to you all how much this ring means to me. I went through a lot of heartache and disappointment to get to this point, and then God surprised me with this vibrant loving man out of nowhere, who let me know from day one that I was the only woman for him and that he'd always be there for me. This ring is a beautiful symbol of how blessed and loved I am.
There are so many things to love about this ring – I hope the pictures do it justice. (I never tire of taking pictures of it – quite the guilty pleasure.) As you can imagine, it's incredibly sparkly and the finger coverage is ideal for me. I am in love with the romantic look of the rose gold and how flattering it is to my skin tone and I especially appreciate how beautifully proportioned the three stones are (we prefer proportionally larger sidestones than usual). And the setting itself, with its elegant claw prongs and knife edge flowing into the angled prongs bracketing the pears – beautimous! Without further ado...
