I have a 4 day weekend w/ no plans, so what did i do? I took pictures!!!

This is the one i''ve been working on for the past few months. It was to be set between sapphires sides, but i cannot seem to find the perfect sapphires w/ no green or violet.

Fortekitty, that is sooo pretty. Sparkles like crazy! The simplicity of the setting just makes it. where are the profile shots? Is it a lucida type head? Wear it for a while, I bet you won''t miss the colored stones at all! You are going to see lots of color out of that stone to satisfy you.

I have a solitaire already, that's why i wanted to set this one w/ sapphires!

um... i have no idea what kind of rose it is... all i know is they smell delicious. I want perfume that smell like it!

Your photos are so great. I wish I could take some like that. Mine usually turn out blurry. I am bias and LOVE sapphires with diamonds. What shape sapphires are you looking for? Maybe they could help you on the colored gem board.

The sapphires didn''t work out, so i''m back to square one. My latest urge is to set it in a pendant and just wear it, because it''s not getting any love right now. I''ve done a bunch of research, but nobody seems to talk about pendants very much. i just want it to hang in the middle of my neck... no flipping downward, no spinning so it''s on the side/back of my neck, and no flipping upward so it''s against my chest.

What kind of setting would prevent those circumstances? Does that happen often?
