I was looking at some photos of Aquamarines because Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. I stumbled upon a photo of this incredible aquamarine and nearly fell out of my chair. This is the Don Pedro Aquamarine, which resides in the Smithsonian museum. If the size wasn't amazing enough, the intricate cuts will blow you away.

I've seen that before.

Wish it were mine!

Thank you very much for the link! I am new here so I'm not familiar with most of the forums. I was hoping to find more info on this amazing stone.

Thanks for sharing it again as I never get tired of seeing that specimen - unbelievably beautiful!

Me too, Minou. I have it in my beautiful jewels file, in fact.
