Small beautiful ruby trilogy meets Godzilla hands, styling advice? Pic heavy!

Back in December I spotted a ruby trilogy for sale but hesitated on it and it sold. Well it must have gotten returned because it popped back up this month. I’ve been looking for a ruby ring, has to be a certain color though and so the hunt has been challenging. It’s probably not “ruby ideal” but it’s perfect for me.

This is the picture I picked it out of, it is second from the top middle finger.

It arrived today and the color is perfect but the ring itself is a bit small on my, healthy hands. I’m trying to figure out how to wear it, I feel like it needs to be with another ring so, this was the best I could come up with. Trying to do the ring justice while not looking out of proportion. Not sure either of these really work though.

I really like it as a pinky ring but I lost a ring (in the garbage of all places but it was recovered) once while wearing it on my pinky so that’s out. Plus I think it’s too tall for a pinky ring, just for scale:



So you can see it’s small but so pretty, here are a couple more pics for the color and GLOW. Any suggestions on how to wear this? It’s at the jeweler being sized but they said I should have it back later today.

Pretty ring! I don’t quite like either of the stacks you posted, though between the two I think I like the one with the blue ring more. But imo both stacks seem to have your other ring overpower the Ruby ring!

I think I would basically stack with only bands or non graduated rings, like a 5 or 7 stone, and only in WG/plat and/or diamonds. Could you put together a stack like that from your existing collection? Feels like you should let the Ruby be the only pop of colour in your stack, so it stands out!

I actually do like the first stack, it's giving antique almost toi-et-moi vibes with the two different color stones. Alternatively I would probably stack two of the same chunky bands on either side of it. Maybe a couple engraved bands, or a couple diamond eternities.

Unfortunately I don’t have a five or seven stone band yet and I tried my diamond band with an engraved one but the shades are too different. So @Rfisher I did try that idea but it doesn’t work. @Mooshi, that’s kind of the look I was going for with the sapphire but still wasn’t really digging it.

Since I can’t combine the engraved bands with my diamond eternity because of the difference in metal colors, I tried some combos with my ruby eternity:

I love how you have it in the latest pic. Or like @Rfisher is suggesting, sandwiched between 2 thin bands. (Preferably thin diamond bands.)

Thanks @Star gazer and @AllAboardTheBlingTrain, I was afraid the ruby eternity would be too different of a shade but when I tried it, it works! Maybe down the line there will be a five stone band in the mix, that would be a nice wardrobe addition.

Just re-read, and saw that you said the sanwiched idea didn't work with your bands. I like this combo I attached, the most. And hope you get the 5 stone band of your dreams!! <3

I love both your ruby trilogy and your sapphire trilogy!

If it were me I would stack the ruby trilogy with a thin plain band of the same metal/color (if you have one) and then your ruby eternity band. Although I also like the photo @kgizo just posted!

Do you mind sharing where you bought the ruby trilogy? I like one of the other rings on that lady's fingers!

These are perfect stacks and the color complements like they were made together. I like it with the sapphire 3 stone as well. It's the perfect stacker.
