Sizing a ring in Chicago

A friend who lives in Chicago has bought a ring, and now needs the ring resized. Any recommendations? She's looking for someone local so that she can build a relationship with them for things like re-dipping the ring.

Personally, I recommend Windy City Diamonds in Jewelers Row - ask for Jim. They set the majority of my jewelry over the last two years - they have a great bench.

Excuse me, Addy, I'm new... I'd reccomend a jeweler that has a benchman/goldsmith on site rather than sending it out. (as most do or have a benchman that only come in once or twice a week) A good benchman will work the counter as well as appraise and work the bench. Some establishments won't let the customer speak with the benchman. I find that it speaks volumes if the benchman is available to the customer. I reccomend research and or call.

BTW, I noticed a post you had made March of '09, about a seller on ebay, secondhanddiamond and wanted to thank you for that post. Very short story, but your post was what lead me to them and my successful purchase. Excellence in customer service, they accomplished what I tried and tried to do and made my dream come true!
