Will my finance be able to tell the difference in size from 1.3ct to 1.5ct?
Are they that different?

It depends. What are the measurements in mm?

A man weighing 130 lbs and one weighing 150 lbs may be the same height - but looking down on them from the top there will be a difference in width.

So it is with diamonds. We need to know the measurements to answer.

IMO, if they are sitting next to each other, unset, you will be able to see the difference.

Once set, I''m not so sure, and once you aren''t comparing DIRECTLY I am even less sure that you could tell a difference...

I guess it depends on how important having a 1.5 carat is to you ultimately.

But that is just my opinion.
