Here is my cleanest little orange ball of glitter....I am really bad at taking good pictures of these for some reason..does anyone else find garnets are tough to get pictures of?
The other two are a tsavorite and a rhodolite..

my 3.75 carat spess! "fanta" color. which my iphone cant seem to capture completely
can't make my mind up on how to set it!
Perhaps in some art decor style
but def in yellow gold. Suggestions r welcomed! lol

A 7mm yellowish orange stone I recently set.

It’s was in a Tiffany legacy cushion style setting. The cushion shape didn’t fit it well, so a blue spinel sits in that one now. Thank you!!

These beads, heart pendant and cabs have more yellow in them...some a touch of brown, which I think softens the orange in a lovely way in spessartites.

I am reviving this thread 4 years later (to the day!) because spessartites deserve some loooove!

So, c'mon now, don't be shy, I know for sure that some have been acquired in the past years!

Here are mine:

1. This is a 3,365ct, 8,26mm Loliondo spess cut by Gene. Set in a simple yellow gold basket pendant by DK, I bought this piece second hand from Gignercurls.






2. This is the Lily ring by CRD. Yvonne sourced the centre stone, it's 0,5mm, somewhere in the 0,60-0,65ct range (didn't ask for the specific weight). Tiny but mighty.

I am beginning to search for a Spessartite and I know that the color is very important. With that being said, would you say that one particular location produces better color and clarity gems than others?

Please show me yours!
