Yes, I have been away from PS because we have been busy designing and building our home in Fountain Hills AZ for the last 3 years.

Well it is finally finished and I will show you our 9-ft artificial tree from Costco.

Please share yours when ready (it's early, lol)

Gorgeous! I love the colors you've chosen.

At the other end of the spectrum, is the little tree I started in December of 2020. I went minimalist because of Covid, and decided only to decorate with the hand painted eggs I had purchased over the years from an egg shop in Salzburg and a few other places during Christmas markets. I liked it so much, I've just kept using it although still need a suitable topper (Just plopped a red bon bon type thing on there).

Our tree is not yet up but here's our tree from previous years.

Tommy's favorite spot in the tree lol

Gracie always has to get in on the action...our aunt actually thought this was a cat ornament lolol

And Fred, may he RIP. He enjoyed being under the tree each Christmas

And the one ornament we put on the tree (this and the star). The cats destroyed many of our gorgeous retro christmas tree ornaments from the 40s and 50s so the past few years we only put this ornament on the tree.

Will add current photos as they occur. Happy holidays all. Be well and enjoy

White tree in our bedroom and the other in the living room. I told myself several times during the decorating process that I’m getting too old for all this It’s a workout getting them up, but I can never resist the urge as soon as Halloween is over.

Have to admit that the child in me loves trees with many presents just waiting to be opened...gets me all excited!

I always have a real tree, so it doesn't go up until mid-December at the earliest. It stays up until after January 6 (Epiphany, Twelfth Night).

Thank you. My posts were deleted at the OP’s request. No idea why.

OP, that's me? Because I didn't ask for your posts to be deleted. What were they?

Idk. I posted two pics of Christmas trees. No idea what’s going on. I’ve never seen this in all my years on this site.

Sorry, I don't know either. Why would a Christmas Tree offend anyone?

Hi Monarch, you hit "report concern" on your own posts and asked for them to be deleted. You are the OP who requested it since you are the OP of those posts you reported. If you did this in error, we can reinstate them.

Well I feel like a ding dong. That’s what I get for posting the night before a holiday! When I heard back from Ella, I remembered that I did report and ask them to be deleted WITH THE INTENTION (hahaha) of posting better pics. Big fail on my part. Anyway, sorry for derailing this thread, here are current contributions!

I love the jewel tones of your 2nd tree!

Here’s my “ tired of doing the tree by myself” tree! Our big tree stays boxed up in the garage again this year. I have decades of Hallmark, German, antique and Waterford ornaments staying in their boxes too. I just haven‘t felt like decorating the tree by myself. My DH helps me haul the small tree into the house and then he goes off to watch football. Our kids live 90 miles away and family Christmas is always at their house. So… this is our decorated tree again this year, courtesy of me by myself. Having a pity party here. Can you tell?

It's lovely and you have so many "Christmassy" things around it. Very festive.

Thought I’d add my fireplace decorations. I have collected hand carved Santas for many years. They are among my most treasured piece. Would love to see how other PS members decorate their fireplaces, if you have one.IMG_0619.jpeg

Thank you! I sort of sounded like the Grinch in my post, but I do love sitting there in the morning while I inhale my first cup of coffee.

I finally finished decorating my tree last night. We have had the same red theme for years, I plan on buying new tree ornaments for next year’s tree! IMG_3441.jpeg

Very pretty tree, but now you have a focus for after Christmas sales shopping…..new ornaments!

Here’s our little tree, our first real tree that I hope we’ll keep lush and green until after Christmas. While many of you have to safeguard your trees from pets, I have to protect mine from my savage 9 month old :twirl:IMG_8397.jpeg
