I am loving these pictures!

CDT, I love the look of your antique cushion in a sleek, modern setting - just gorgeous!

Ringabling, your ring is just "ridonkulous" is the very best way - huge, gorgeous, perfect solitaire! That''s what I want my solitaire to be when it grows up.

Jayrenay, that Vatche setting is incredible - what a beautiful princess ring!

Oops, I meant that jayrenay''s ring looked fit for a princess, not a princess cut - lovely!

I''m the worst at picture taking, but, here''s my 1.2 ct H SI2 EGL. It''s a touch warmer than GIA or AGS stones I''ve looked at, but, interestingly I think the clarity is closer to an AGS or GIA SI1. IMO the only problem with EGL is that they may be a little less consistent with their grading. You really need to know what you are looking for/at. That said, DH picked out this stone pre PS and without knowing anything about loose stones. He did a pretty good job.

There are some lovely EGL stones out there. I''m looking forward to seeing them!

I need a closer picture for detail! That''s beautiful!

Thanks Vesper... I love your RB! Such a great stone!

I personally have no problems with my EGL stone. I understand what everyone says about EGL being more "relaxed" when it come to grading diamonds...but, I also believe if you buy your stone from a reputable vendor who will spend time hand selecting your diamond and making sure this stone is the best one to not only fit your budget, but meet your requirements, going with EGL is perfectly safe!

I also don''t think it''s fair to generalize....I''ve seen plenty of GIA stones that aren''t seemingly what they say.
