Pretty flowers, Queenie! I can't play though we've got snow on the ground in Wyoming.

Oh, those are beautiful Queenie! We still have tons of snow on the ground here, but hopefully it’ll start to warm up soon.

Not even buds in NJ. We're expecting snow tomorrow. BTW, I wish I could smell those lilacs, they're my favorite.

Not much here in NY. Mostly just starting to bud.

Here in MI our crocus just came up a few days ago. Not much else happening, a few other bulbs have begun to come up. Still too cold here. Your pictures are beautiful Queenie!

Can't wait to see all of your spring flowers after snow is gone!!! We've been quite warm here in the Bay Area. Look forward to seeing all of your beautiful blossoms soon!!!:wavey:

Smothered and covered in snow!

20180331_165542.jpg I took thess pictures20180331_165539.jpg 20180331_165536_011.jpg Saturday, we now have six inches of snow covering them. Hoping it will melt quickly!

Now there's more snow predicted in the forecast for the weekend according to my girlfriend.::)
Poor Spring flowers.

HI:

Flowers?? Only from the hothouse......waaaaaaaa. But I did enjoy your IRL pictures Queenie.

cheers--Sharon

Kaka and Ceg - beautiful blooms! Thank you for sharing!

Ceg, Are drift roses similar or the same as carpet roses?

Thank you all for posting the beautiful pictures. It’s been a long winter.

Drift roses and carpet roses are similar. They were developed by different breeders. Drift roses grow well here and are relatively disease free (a small feat in the Texas humidity). They are like knock out roses that spread out instead of up.

Just daffodils, crocus, and hyacinth up right now. No pictures of them yet.

Got these to add to the garden...IMG_20180402_165349.jpgIMG_20180402_165354.jpgIMG_20180402_165419.jpg

Pinks too, one of my favourites.

Wonderful thread! Love all of these beautiful flowers! Still chilly and dreary here in NJ so no blooms yet, and these pics are a real day brightener. :appl:

Thank you for the info @ceg . I have some carpet and rose knock out roses and have had very good luck with them. I need to look into Drift rose.

It was 34 here today. I love this thread!

The Redbuds are out in full force here this week. I planted these, but they also grow wild in the woods and along the roads.

It’s the first blue sky here for weeks. I love this time of year. It sounds ridiculous but I can almost feel my brain fizzing with happy hormones when we start to get some sun and flowers - the winter is just so grey and overcast.

Not bad considering it has been snowing almost every single week including last week, this week and next week.
