This was a purchase from another PS’er a sapphire encrusted snake pendant in18K oxidized gold. Love him so much,

Thank you. I had originally sent him a larger stone but it meant that the head had to be deeper and I wanted to keep it low. Ended up using just a small .20ct OEC. I'm happy the way it turned out.

I purchased it to wear as a thumb ring and never take off. Mostly because once i get it over my gorilla knuckle it's just staying there

My "finger to knuckle" ratio is a ridiculous proportion...

Alex is amazing, i know David could make it for me but there's something about Alex's interpretation that really spoke to me. I love the scales and the dimensional quality fot the scales

AND Mostly Alex's brushed gold that no one else can seem to do! Alex has the BEST brushed gold. Hence my harassment of him... you should see my DMs with Alex:

Alex: Remind me in a month

*a month later*

And then he QUICKLY made the CAD and ring, like once he committed to making it, he was super fast and i am OBSESSED with it


Sooo.. if anyone wants a step cut kite diamond around 1/2 carat, i have one... LOL!

I have wanted this ring since you first posted snakes!! LOL!! I just LOVE Alex's take on it, it looks like my tattoo! Well, i have 2 snake tattoos, it looks like one of them LOL

I love everybody's snakes!

Did I ever show you guys my snake cravat pins? How I miss the glory days of ebay, when gold was cheap and nobody much wanted old Victorian stuff!

First, my favorite: a Victorian (or Georgian?) cravat pin, heavily made in good-quality gold (maybe 15K?). The snake has tiny cabochon rubies for eyes (they glow bright red under UV) and is holding a pearl, which must be natural, given the age. So must the rubies. On the back is a hair memento under glass.









Next, a pair of Victorian cravat pins, each with a snake holding a banded agate globe. One has a tiny OMC set like an eye. These are also some good karat of gold.









The teeny tiny OMC:

Oh, and one more. This last one came to me already converted into a ring--I would never have done that to it! The snake is holding a small natural ruby. It came with the tiny pearl dangle, but I'm not sure if it's original to the pin.
