Your ring is gorgeous.

I love how it is there are so many brilliant diamonds, but the overall design is simple and classic. Enjoy that beautiful piece and congratulations.

What size finger are you -- the diamond looks huge for 1 ct.

Lovelylulu - I know, it does look bigger, everyone says that. I do not have small hands... size 6.5-7!!

The diamond is not very deep so it is wider or something? (I don''t really do diamond-speak so bare with me)... When we met with Leon he was holding it and said he estimated it was close to 2cts... then he weighed it for us and it was 1.06... he was shocked too!

oops, the pic is kind of big, the center stone does have weak or faint fluor. but I think it''s a reflection from the sky or my shirt because I took the picture on the roof of my building. It doesn''t have that color at all in person...

Gooloo...I really like the sort of "free floating" halo in your ring. By the way, does the cut of your diamond have a name? In the closeup shot, it looks to have a round table. Is that unusual??

Hi Effie, Thanks! I love it too! : )

I think my band is 3mm but I am not sure. I know that I thought I wanted it even thinner, which Leon talked me out of, and I am happy he did. It is very delicate but still blingy!

Note to everyone: I was recently surfing the new cartier "Bridal" section and there is a ring that looks remarkably like mine! Wanted to show it to my fiance today but for some reason our flash is not working correctly. If anyone can get this pic up I would be so greatful! It is Cartier, Ceremony, "Bridal" and is under "creative settings" I believe.

Thanks, Mine! I tried on a couple of diamond bands, but I think I may end up w/ a thin, plain platinum band. I think my e-ring mounting is so detailed that the diamond bands might distract from the e-ring. Either that or I haven''t found the right diamond band yet!

I''ll definitely keep you guys posted...I have a bit of time to think abou this!
