Every once in a while someone will post a picture of a necklace they''ve had made, but they''re few and far between. I would love to see what you all have come up with, because I need the inspiration. Post away!

Ok, let me try and get this started. This one was posted by Arjunajane as a necklace of tourmalines owned by the Hamlin family (who discovered tourmalines).

D&T posted this necklace of beryls, though I don''t believe she owns it herself.

I'm not entirely sure if this is kosher, but here are some from ebay. This auction is for a big old sapphire necklace.

ETA: 9.07cts of sapphire, 6.67cts of G/SI1 diamonds, and 36.5g of 14kt gold. Currently has bids for $600, and there's no reserve.

I can't figure out how to save the picture but this is an interesting garnet necklace.

ETA: Sterling silver and no mention of the garnets' weight. $38.50 auction or $42.95 BIN.

This necklace is being sold as well for $3995 BIN or best offer.

33.14cts of aquamarine, 20.7cts of beryl, 1.61cts of G-H/SI1-2 diamonds, 9.6cts of sapphires, and 51.7g of 14kt gold.

Here''s another auction for an interesting garnet, peridot, and amethyst necklace. No mention of the weight of the stones. $34.50 auction or $37.95 BIN. Nor can I save the picture to post here.

Here is a topaz necklace in sterling silver with 311.08ctw (silver & stones), and weighs 62.25g. The BIN is $388.60.

Here is a sapphire & diamond necklace on ebay. 49cts of sapphire & 6.5cts of H-K/SI2-I1 diamonds in 65.3g of 14kt gold. BIN is regularly $10,205 but they have a 40% off sale ending in 1 day (current BIN is $6123). Also has a Best Offer.

Anyone else have necklaces they''ve made? And they don''t have to be big old honkers like some of these ebay ones! I know y''all are creative and love gemstones, so please let me see your pieces! (And I love neck shots!) And if anyone does happen to get one of these necklaces, please let us know and post picts when they arrive.

this is from Whiteflash -- all stones are ACAs, 1.81ctw. I had it made when I upgraded my diamond studs & used the old ones in the necklace along with a new center stone, cause 3 is not a crowd.

Here is the aqua pendant I had made by my local jeweler. It''s a Michael E. stone.

Here''s a very nice pendant that was created by Ocean Pearlman with a Richard Homer tourmaline. Sorry I don''t know who it belongs to.

Lovewhitediamonds: Wowza, what a necklace! You should add a picture of it to this thread. Did you ever decide to make any of the changes you were considering during the thread?

Catmom: I love the color on your aqua pendant, and the sapphire pendant is lovely. How sweet of your husband!

Gailey: Thanks for posting that tourm pendant. That stone is AMAZING.

D&T: I understand about not looking at the price tag. Though I would have liked to try it on. Then seeing the humongous rocks on me would have made me feel better about not owning it (I''m a small person and so anything big just looks totally out of place on me).

These are mine. Not too exciting.

.2 round and .4 pear, bezel set
.15 princess cut and emerald
Sapphire pendant
Round diamond pendant

Wow... some great looking necklaces here!! Mine is a simple 3-stone pendant. 2 single cuts and 1 OEC.

Whiteflash made both of these a few years ago. The pear diamond was my original ER stone. .96ct , maybe a J or lower, and SI2. Not a great stone.
The RB is an ACA 1.54ct H VS2. Martini setting. Love it and wear it every single day.
I rarely wear the pear pendant, I need to get it out and start wearing it, but it looks so dressy.

Y2kitty: Thank for sharing that picture. I particularly like the princess diamond with the emeralds.

GoodSoul: That''s a lovely pendant as well, and such a great classic look.

Bebe: Those are two fabulous beauties! If you only feel like wearing the multi-stone necklace to more formal occasions start doing some more fancy stuff so you can wear that gorgeous thing!

I have several necklaces that I have bought or are being made.

This one I bought off another PSer. It is a pink/lavendar spinel 1 ct center surrounded by I believe .33 diamond.

Here is another similar picture but with my 1.11 ruby bezel set into a .20 halo.

This I am in the process of making this necklace now but need to decide if i want to use a large tear drop ruby or a cushion green amethyst.

Can you tell I like halos
