Happy New Year PS''ers!

You might remember here that in Nov I received a beautiful asscher necklace from WF. After seeing the appraiser, he recommended that I get a thicker chain and clasp. So, back it went, and I also had it shortened a bit which the shorter length seems to diminish the "flipping" of the stones.

Attached are some pics of the revised necklace. Although I am enjoying it, I''m still considering adding more stones to the mix, just not sure how. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and Happy, Healthy 2009!

Beautiful LWD!

How would you like to incorporate more stones?

I think it is lovely like it is! I''d be afraid it would be a little much for everyday if you added more stones.

I like the revised necklace much more than the original version -- I think it's the new length that seem to work better.

Personally I think it's perfect as is and wouldn't change it, even to add more diamonds!

ETA but if you absolutely must satisfy that itch, I'd consider setting a small, bezel-set round or asscher diamond midway between set of diamonds... "in" the chain rather than hanging below it, if you know what I mea... more like accents than additional "main attraction" stones.

Lovely! I like it very much and I think it''s really nice at the shorter length.

Adding more diamonds? Hmm. How about an enhancer? A little drop that could hang from the centre asscher for big bling days and be removed for less is more days? I dream about that for my own necklace.

Whatever you do, it''s gorgeous and I''m quite envious (in a nice way

Enjoy it!

((((swoon))))

The shortened length looks good.

Looks great on you! I love it!

It looks great - I wouldn''t even consider adding more stones because it looks perfect just the way it is!

I love it as it is (even though it belongs to a Spartan

). I agree with the idea of an enhancer. How about using coloured stones?

gorgeous! and you have a very nice neck to sport those baubles!

I agree with the others that it looks perfect as it is. However, the idea of the removeable enhancer is great because it gives you options.

Enjoy wearing your lovely necklace.

It looks great how it is! I like the shortened length. Gorgeous necklace!

I absolutely love the revised version. The length is perfect and the whole thing is perfection.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply!

Coati - Thanks! maybe more ACA''s spaced 1/2" or so from the other stones? or exchange the center 1.04 for a 2ct? or would that be too large for the piece?

How about one juicy gem hanging from the main asscher? Make it maize or blue.

Its lovely the way it is!

You might loose some of the feel/lines of the necklace if you change it. The piece is so well balanced right now.
