I had a great chat with Mark yesterday. He''s very informative, super nice guy. Does anyone have shots with petite sunburst, sunburst, torchiere, or flame? I especially love the petite sunburst and torchiere.

Ok, thanks. BTW, which do you prefer? And, do you prefer when people add the "surprise" diamonds at the crown base? For the sunburst, I like it slightly more without, but for the torchiere, I think I like it more WITH.

And can I just WORD your comment about loving all of Mark's rings? The fluidity of them is just incredible... The Torchiere is just my favourite, though. I think we are destined to be together.

ETA: Does anyone know the shank measurements on the petite versions of his solitaires? I think the standard is 3mm at its widest...?

Gwen, I think the petites are 2.5mm at their widest. I love the torchiere, too! However, he hadn't yet posted it when FI ordered my sunburst. No regrets, though. I'm not a big fan of the flame, but that's mostly because I love the taper on the shank. It just shows the diamond off so beautifully.

Hmmm...so if I go with the regular, then my e-ring will be wider than my wedding band, but if I went with the petite (which I think would probably look too small on my big fingers anyway), then they''d be the same. I don''t think I want the same. I like the slight difference in widths. *strokes chin* Yup, I think I''ve basically figured out what my wedding set will be.

I love love love the Mark Morrell rings. I''m hinting BIG TIME for the Torcheire or perhaps a 4 prong version of it. We''ll see how that goes!
