Odd request here, but anyone have halos made of marquise or pears (or any other cuts really) that are not round in shape?

I find I am really drawn to such halos. I’ve seen a few examples online, but would love to see if there are any PS examples!

Doesn’t matter whether it’s a gemstone or diamond ring. Post them all!

I have seen step cut halos, French cut halos, etc. A Marquise would be tricky, but I’d imagine, doable, depending on the design.

DBL has had a handful or two over the years.
Pears, marquises and ovals. Some mixed, some not.
The blue sapphire one with oval diamonds making up the halo still haunts me :love:

Hopefully some PSers own these and will show them off here!

@Rfisher , DBL has this AMAZING ruby ring with a pear halo that I’ve been drooling over for YEARS.... that’s where I first caught the pear halo but I think!

@Catmom , your ring is stunning!!! Do you have a thread with details and more pictures?! I love that halo!

@missy , I hadn’t thought about oval halos but that’s lovely! I might have to add ovals to my list of odd halo stone shapes that I want too haha

@Rfisher , I’m mainly after eye candy, but there are a few stones that I have which are waiting to be set... and I’m pretty sure I want a non standard halo!
