Show me your favorite type of halo!

Here on PS, it seems to be the general consensus that the best type of halo is the Emilya, followed by any that look like it produced by SK, LM or ERD. Yet, IRL, very few of us have actually seen these halos, but will still favor these. However, there are so MANY different types of halos. Please show me your favorite type and describe why it is your favorite. You don't have to own it, but if you do, that would be a plus!

Oh I have so many faves! None of which I own but a girl can dream can't she?

Love Victor Canera's halos. TDF. That man is a true artist.

And I am most recently in love with Erika Winter's Caroline halo. OMG. Gorgeous.

I would love to see these halos IRL but for now I will have to be happy with admiring them from afar.

Thanks for playing along, Missy! I wondered if this post might alienate posters bc I prefaced it with the popularity of the Emilya. I love love love them all! Honestly, I am so overwhelmed when it comes to halos! I thought this thread could serve as a review course for anyone considering a halo.

I hate to be a stickler but if you really want to give credit where credit is due then it shouldn't be the Emilya but Harry Winston as that is his/their companys design that all the other designers have since copied.

For me I love love love sebastien barier halos (any of them). Since soone already posted a famous SB design here is a little less famous one. The champagne diamond halo is one of my favoirtes and of course I can't think of the well known designer's name...which is really going to bother me....argh!!

I also love target rings and wish we saw them more often

Vintage halos are my favourite type of halo. This will be a future splurge purchase for me when I can afford something frivolous. Somehow the diamond and halo feel like they're made for one another in a vintage inspired setting.

I absolutely love vintage halos and there have been several stunning ones on PS. The two that I always enjoy looking at because of the integrate detailing are Junebugs Simong G (loving the detail on the shank! ), and Yennyfire's halo-type Singlestone ring!

I like air gap/line halos in various designs, and have a few in my collection:





Nearly always plain shank with 4mm at the top, tapered to 3mm at the bottom to provide good finger coverage and minimise the look of fleshy bulges like a joint of meat being tied up tightly with a string.
