Where did you get it?

Don’t feel like making a separate thread for these but before the tariffs I purchased some loose 5x7 lab Colombian green emeralds from Ruif, which is a Chinese vendor similar to Tianyu and Jelly Gem. They’re slightly included. I set them into Stuller studs. I love the color of these, although they’re a little more green than natural Colombians. They’re still better than the Starsgem emerald I got a few years back.

I was worried they’d be too big, but they’re not at all, especially for my large earlobes; I kind of wish I went a little larger at 7x9. The first pic is the closest they are in color IRL.

Wow they are gorgeous!

I am trying to replicate(ish) my aunt’s mother’s engagement ring and I got these two antiques for inspo - synthetic aquamarine and peridot. Obvs not the best cut synthetic stones but still pretty rings.

I'm a beader. Went to a rather crappy rock and gem show but picked up a nice (albeit milky) rose quartz bracelet, which I've redone as I20250727_160543.jpg20250727_160408.jpg have small wrists. This gal glows.

Right fellow beader???
I adore it but nice RQ is hard to find and ordering online is dodgy and/or expensive. I was delighted to get this as the cloudiness makes it glow wonderfully. The beads are kinda odd, flattened at the drill holes, but for $30 bucks, I'm happy.

before i got friendly with the jeweller i was walking past his shop one day and saw the most beautiful rose quartz, i thought it was a bit over priced till i started to try to find good rose quartz
turns out he had had the stones for years and had only just got around to setting them
i think your $30 was well spent

Show us a pic if you can get one?

They also had another bracelet that had clear RQ, and it was lovely. The beads were 11 or 12 mm and looked ridiculously large on my wrist. They're both lovely in different ways.

I've seen dyed "RQ" and therefore not sure if it's really RQ. I can't see any evidence this is dyed but who knows.

My sister carries a chuck of it in her pocket. Something about calming her. I dunno. Maybe?
