My cluster. 1.51ct G VS2 with 26 and 27pt stones in the sides - all E-F VS/VVS. Roughly 3.6ctw. Size 7, platinum. To my eye, this ring is perfect. Every prong, every angle is so precise - I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out. Made by DKJ.

( - and yes, it's just my avatar photo! I thought about just posting "<---" - but it seemed impolite! So here it is, larger!)

Thanks, J! I know the center is a G - but I've *always* thought it was an F. There is absolutely -zero- tint to it from the side and, of course, all I can see from the top is light return. I was actually staggered when I saw it - I have F's that aren't as white as this G.

ETA. And it's not just this white in the photo. In real life it's every bit as white as it looks in my avatar photo.

It may very well be an F. Libby, the diamond I sold this year, was supposedly a G. Every appraiser said it looked like an F. When I sold it the GIA report came back that it was an F. I should have kept her and made a three stone. Ugh

An update for my flower cluster ring project - I have purchased the centre stone!

It is a 7mm pink Sapphire that Jeff W sourced for me during his trip to Tucson in 2020 shortly before Covid-19 kicked in, recut from a slightly larger stone that had a small window. This stone is my most expensive CS to date!

This is the cluster ring setting that I have always loved ever since I saw it some years ago, an air gap halo, with no millgrain and a wider comfort shank:

DK :))

Thank sapphire is gorgeous! Do you have anymore pics of it (in another thread perhaps)?

I think Emma qualifies as a cluster. She is definitely antique. She was my grandmother’s and started off life as a watch cover of an evening watch.

My new cluster - chunky and mis shapen, just like me! Estimated 2.2 tcw in platinum. Set very low so it’s easy to wear daily. size 10 finger sadly but it’s still got presence. How I yearn for dainty hands and feet!

Beautiful! I have a low set cluster too. In fact I can’t get mine off right now because of summer finger swelling. I’ll be wearing her for at least a week! I have to turn the air on super cool and then I can take her off!

This is Blossom. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of mine yesterday. She was an engagement ring for a lady in France. Her daughter inherited her and sold her to me from England. I kept her original name given to her by her mother.

Awww - thank you, @elle_71125! (And my apologies for taking a year to see your comment and respond!) Interestingly, I was talking about you this morning to my BFF in Australia. I said "Yssie has the designs-of-death collection, but Elle has the colored stones-to-end-all-colored-stones collection. She took my Gloria Floria and blew it out of the water with a colored center! Exactly what I should have done in the first place!"

The adoration is mutual, my dear! :wavey:

That’s such a sweet compliment and it fills my heart with the warm and squishies. Thank you!

Antique/Vintage or modern, colored gems and diamonds or all diamonds, any combination of cluster rings please share here! :appl:

I am a big fan of antique diamond cluster rings and would love to see any cluster rings PSers have. Thanks!

Here's one I just finished. Was a real basket case, but was able to find 4 oec cuds from a jeweler in Cincinnati. (Thank you Mr.Finer) and my jeweler in Palm Springs put it all back together. One stone next to center color is a little off, but as good as it gets! IMG20221004090825.jpg Anyway, I estimate between 1-2 ct. total weight, invested $400.

And last one! (Sorry about this - I'd have put them all in one post if they had fitted!) These are the earrings. I'm actually contemplating a larger pair in yellow gold for drops from a design Amy from DK did for me. We'll see - I have a bunch of projects for this year and don't see myself getting to that. The design is a pear stud with curved 'stem' drop with the occasional marquise diamond for 'leaves', then the cluster down the bottom. Wow - it looked so much better in the sketches than that sounds in print!!

Sorry to be a thread hog, but I hope you enjoyed them. :)

Love them all! You are a very lucky lady!

Don't we all (wish for dainty hands and feet). Nevermind, whenever I feel low I just go look at jewelry like yours and feel better right away!

Bumping this thread because I’ve gone down the cluster ring rabbit hole. All the ones that have been posted are simply stunning! Please everyone continue sharing! I’d especially love to see the side view on some. It’s hard to find good photos of unique galleries for this style of ring, and for me that’s my favorite part!
